Observe incoming raw materials to ensure specifications are met, then operate a front-end loader to unload materials into storage bins and load dump trucks, trailers, and pickups. Retrieve appropriate material according to batch operator specifications, conduct physical inventory checks, and perform routine maintenance on loaders, compressors, bag houses, pumps, and valves. Inspect material silos for cleanliness, maintain dust systems, and keep the plant site and equipment neat through sweeping, mowing, and proper storage organization. Perform miscellaneous duties as requested by the Plant Manager, including training employees and filling in for absent staff. Schedule varies daily with typical 8-12 hour shifts and early morning starts. Total compensation ranges from $40-45k annually with weekly bonuses and overtime opportunities.
