Job Summary
Load finished product into bulk trailers, filling out necessary paperwork for trailer inspections, tailings checks, product retain samples, and COAs. Communicate with Shift Miller to determine product types and bin contents, while maintaining current knowledge of MSS requirements for your area. Conduct daily load-out magnet checks, run test pieces through metal detectors once per shift, and observe Good Manufacturing Practices in accordance with BRC standards. May be required to load feed trucks and conduct Fall Protection training. Work Wednesday through Saturday shifts with constant communication and adherence to food safety regulations.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Strong problem solving abilities
- Must be able to use, or learn to use the equipment and tools used to perform this job
- Basic computer skills
- Detail oriented
- Proven written and verbal communication skills
- Must be able to lift and carry packages up to 50 pounds
- Must keep current on the MSS that's required for their area
- Will have to conduct Fall Protection training
- Must observe and utilize Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) as set forth by Miller Milling Company in accordance with BRC standards
- Responsibility to food safety regulations
- Good paperwork and documentation skills
