Job Summary
Guide crane operators using standardized hand signals and ropes during lifting and movement of pool shells. Properly load, tie down, and secure shells according to approved procedures while inspecting components for defects like tile alignment and surface scratches. Prepare pools for nesting and transportation by applying foam ribbing and follow established removal procedures from molds. Apply Latham quality standards to all pools prior to loading and shipment, completing required documentation for load configuration and inspections. Maintain a safe work environment through consistent PPE use and adherence to safety protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to walk most of your shift.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Ability to achieve Loader certification.
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- One (1) year of experience in manufacturing, material handling, or industrial operations preferred.
