Job Summary
Operate loading/unloading in the kiln area on the C shift (6:30pm–6:45am, 4 on 4 off) to support production of fired ceramic products. Perform manual loading/unloading of products to/from kiln cars, read and complete various forms and documents, and use the hydraulic transfer car to move kiln cars. Stack/un-stack Tochi in baskets, input process data into CAPAC, transfer pallets using pallet jack to the Fired Body Rack Server or stock yard, and maintain product cleanliness and condition with gloves. Verify fire shields, clean Tana plates and Tochi, and report issues to leadership. Adhere to safety practices, participate in PM/MMOL/G5S activities, follow EMS procedures, and operate in a humid environment with exposure to moving parts and heat. Requires ability to stand/walk, lift up to 50–100 lbs, and use a pallet jack; overtime may be required. Education and/or Experience: High school diploma/GED; 6 months manufacturing/warehousing experience preferred; CRC Bronze or above; Certified Production Technician preferred.
