Job Summary
Plan and optimize truckload allocations across assigned territories using AS400, prioritizing loads based on customer requirements, tractor production, trailer utilization, driver home time, and deadhead. Coordinate with Customer Service Managers, Fleet Managers, and other internal teams to monitor inbound/outbound/dedicated/trailer statuses and maximize asset utilization. Allocate trailers to customers and geographic areas, monitor yard/terminal operations, and ensure on-time pickups and deliveries. Maintain communication with Operations, Drivers, and related departments; provide coverage at the driver window; adapt to varying shift needs; and relay potential delays or issues promptly. Emphasize adherence to company policies, DOT regulations, and efficient and courteous service.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with emphasis in Marketing, Management, or Transportation/Logistics
- Two to three years customer service experience
- Two to three years transportation experience
- One to two years AS400 or PC experience
