Job Summary
Coordinate with Sales, Warehouse, and Customer Service to plan loads and secure equipment, ensuring customer needs are met and optimizing ROI. Communicate pickup and delivery details to driver managers and carriers while resolving loading and equipment issues with the warehouse. Forecast regional freight needs and manage driver home time requirements to meet on-time delivery obligations for shippers. Work independently in a fast-paced environment using Outlook, Excel, and transportation software to solve problems and resolve conflicts.
Required Qualifications
- Truck dispatch/planning/distribution experience
- Basic computer skills in Outlook and Excel
- High school diploma or GED
