Job Summary
Loader responsible for loading and unloading materials, adhering to safety protocols, wearing PPE, and communicating with team. Tasks include lifting up to 80 pounds, climbing railcars/trailers with three-point contact, documenting safety incidents, performing maintenance on equipment, and performing housekeeping duties while working outdoors in varying weather and shifts.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing in English, including documentation and incident reporting.
- Physical strength and stamina to perform manual labor tasks, including lifting and carrying heavy objects.
- A willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions and adapt to changing environmental factors.
- Strong Attention to detail and commitment to follow safety protocols and procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and dependability in completing assigned tasks.
- Willingness to undergo hands on supervised training.
- Ability to pass pre-employment background screening and drug testing.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including overtime, weekends and holidays as needed.
- Perform housekeeping duties including bathrooms, breakrooms, trash, weed control, washing equipment, shoveling, shop areas, painting, etc. when required.
