Job Summary
Tie loads in a timely manner across the United States to achieve on-time delivery, while maximizing freight optimization and monitoring weights to control costs. Analyze target customers to improve delivery performance, manage untied orders for sales placement, and communicate changes to plant shipping, scheduling, and customer service. Accurately enter sales orders, prioritize difficult ship-to regions, and coordinate delivery appointments as needed. This role supports daily transportation operations Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with travel to other facilities required as business dictates.
Required Qualifications
- BS/BA degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, Sciences or related fields
- Ability to work independently
- Knowledge of when and how to ask questions
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Capability to multitask
- Willingness and ability to travel as business needs dictate
- Eligibility for drug, alcohol, and background checks
- Eligibility for verification of employment eligibility
