Job Summary
Loads and unloads materials in yard or on site; builds load packages for delivery to customer job sites, ensuring loads are balanced and safe for hauling. Operates forklift and other handling equipment; reads work orders, labels materials, and traces items to correct locations. Conveys materials using hand truck, electric dolly, forklift, or other device; attaches tags/labels for identification. May train less experienced Load Builders. Follows safety procedures, attends safety meetings, and may suggest safety improvements. Requires ability to lift up to 80 pounds, work in a production/yard environment, and perform labeling and packaging tasks.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Forklift certification required
