Job Summary
Performs loading and unloading of materials, builds loads for delivery, and secures shipments for transportation. Reads work orders, assembles load packages, and uses tools such as hand trucks, electric dollies, and forklifts. Applies labels and tags for correct item identification, ensures loads are balanced and safe, follows safety procedures, and may participate in safety meetings. Operates within yard or job-site environments and handles basic labeling and inventory tasks to support delivery to customer sites.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- three (3) months experience performing these or similar tasks
- Forklift certification required
