Job Summary
Load Builder/Forklift Operator at Builders FirstSource in Meridian, ID loads and unloads materials onto/from pallets or vehicles, builds loads by determining weight, composition, and placement, and uses forklifts or hand trucks to move items. Reads work orders or follows instructions, handles labeling and tagging for item identification, adheres to safety procedures, and may participate in safety meetings. Requires a high school diploma or GED with three months of related experience or an equivalent combination, and forklift certification.
