Job Summary
Load Builder/Forklift Operator responsibilities include loading and unloading materials within yard or work site, assembling load packages for delivery, loading onto pallets/trucks, securing loads with strapping or padding, determining load weight/composition for safe hauling, reading work orders, moving materials with hand trucks, electric dollies, or forklifts, using tools to open containers, and adhering to safety procedures. The role requires understanding of load-building, ability to identify correct items per customer orders, and maintaining safety while handling materials in a production/yard environment; physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 80 pounds occasionally, with potential climbing, lifting, pushing, or kneeling tasks. Forklift certification is required and a high school diploma or GED is expected.
Required Qualifications

- three (3) months experience performing these or similar tasks
- Forklift certification required
