Job Summary
Network Security Engineer to help architect, design, and build secure classified network products for US Government operations. Responsibilities include assisting with network security product design in secured enclaves, long-term roadmap planning for scalability, defining system security requirements and interfaces, and implementing designs using COTS, GOTS, and open-source software. Must coordinate security assessments, oversee hardening and configuration in accordance with DoD/IC guidance, and travel as needed. Requires a U.S. Citizenship, TS clearance (SCI access), a Bachelor’s degree, and 3+ years of IT experience including hands-on load balancing (preferably F5), network security infrastructure, and system administration duties. Additional qualifications include DevSecOps practices for Cross Domain Solutions, DoD security (STIG), and familiarity with tools like Splunk, Sniffer, Wireshark, and UNIX scripting; CISSP is a plus. This on-site role is based in Santa Clara, CA and Phoenix, AZ; candidate must be willing to work on-site per location.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. Citizen
- Active US Government Top Secret (TS) security clearance with ability to obtain and maintain SCI access
- Bachelor's degree
- 3+ years of information technology experience or related field
- 3+ years of experience installing, configuring, and supporting load balancing technologies (preferably F5)
- 3+ years of experience configuring networks and network security infrastructure, SDN and Firewall infrastructure
- 1+ years of experience monitoring security bulletins and alerts
