Job Summary
The Part-Time Administrative Assistant provides administrative, clerical, communication, and operational support to the Teaching Principal. This role supports daily school operations, serves as a primary point of contact for students, parents, staff, and visitors, and assists with attendance and records management, substitute coordination, event support, classroom supply management, and office functions. Key duties include answering phones, greeting visitors, managing attendance and records, facilitating communications across multiple platforms, coordinating substitute coverage, scheduling meetings and events, distributing forms and materials, and supporting volunteer processes. The role requires professionalism, confidentiality, organization, and strong communication, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace, and experience with school information systems and related platforms.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
- Two or more years of administrative, clerical, or office support experience preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, email systems, and common office technology
- Experience with school information systems and communication platforms is preferred
