Job Summary
Provide direct care and assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, and toileting. Perform mobility and functional nursing care such as transfers, ambulation, ROM, splint application, positioning, sit stand lifts, and Hoyer lifts. Assist with assessments and treatment procedures including TPRs, BP checks, weights, specimen collection, skin care, oxygen stats, and hydration needs. Follow infection control guidelines, care protocols for falls prevention and behavior management, and encourage participation in social and recreational activities. Accurately document care provided via LNA flow sheets and data collection defined by individual Care Plans. Accept resident assignment and direction from the Nurse Leader, reporting any changes in physical or mental function. Full-time overnight shift from 11p to 7a, 40 hours per week. Active NH LNA license required; prior experience with senior citizens preferred.
