Job Summary
Provide direct care and assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, and toileting. Perform mobility and functional nursing care such as transfers, ambulation, ROM, splint application, positioning, sit stand lifts, Hoyer lifts, and whirlpool. Assist with assessments and treatment procedures including TPRs, BP checks, weights, specimen collection, skin care, and oxygen stats. Follow infection control guidelines and care protocols for falls prevention, safety, behavior management, and bowel/bladder management. Accept resident assignments from the Nurse Leader, observe changes in physical or mental function, and accurately document care via LNA flow sheets and data collection. Encourage participation in social and recreational activities while maintaining shared responsibility for resident rooms and common areas.
Required Qualifications
- Active NH LNA License
