Job Summary
Assist patients with activities of daily living tasks including bathing, dressing, eating, and turning/repositioning in bed. Perform vital signs, weights/heights, intakes, and outputs with accuracy, while completing all required medical record documentation. Listen to patient health concerns and report them to nurses, interacting effectively with patients and families. Requires Basic Life Support certification and New Hampshire Nursing Assistant license; 1-2 years patient care experience preferred. Works 3 days per week from 6:45am to 7:15pm at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital.
Required Qualifications
- Basic Life Support [BLS Certification]
- Nursing Assistant [LNA - New Hampshire] - New Hampshire Board of Nursing
- Experience working in patient care/elder care 1-2 years preferred
- Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Strong patient/customer service skills
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
- Proficient computer skills to work efficiently with electronic medical records
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
