Job Summary
Assist residents with daily living activities, personal hygiene, mobility, and nutritional needs under the supervision of licensed nursing staff. Perform bathing, grooming, dressing, skin care treatments, feeding, and toileting according to individual Resident Care Plans. Support ambulation, range-of-motion exercises, turning, positioning, and safe transfers while maintaining a clean, secure environment. Monitor input/output and caloric counts, attend pre-shift reports, and report changes in resident condition or supply needs to licensed personnel. Redirect wandering residents, prioritize fall prevention, and ensure strict privacy and confidentiality. Maintain an active New Hampshire CNA license, BLS certification, and completed COVID-19 vaccination series. Float between units as needed to support resident safety and advocacy.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1+ year of current clinical experience as a Nursing Assistant
- Active New Hampshire CNA License
- Active Compact State Nursing License
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Completed COVID-19 vaccination series
- Ability to float between units as needed
- Strong observational skills
- Commitment to resident rights and safety
