Job Summary

Answer signal lights and bells to determine resident needs. Assist residents with turning, positioning, and short-distance ambulation. Record vital signs including temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration, as well as food and fluid intake and output. Conduct assigned LNA duties in accordance with facility standards and attend interdisciplinary meetings to provide input on resident care plans. Perform other tasks as assigned while maintaining physical comfort and emotional well-being for residents under nurse supervision. Full-time, part-time, and per diem shifts available from 6:00 AM to 6:00 AM with weekly pay ranging from $19.80 to $27.86 per hour.

Required Qualifications

  • Active LNA license in the state of Vermont (or reciprocity)
  • Valid certification as a Licensed nursing Assistant LNA in the state of employment
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language at an intermediate or more advanced level

Desired Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Six months experience in a long term care environment preferred
  • Ability to react decisively and quickly in emergency situations
  • Ability to communicate effectively with residents and their family members, and facility staff
  • Displays responsibility by taking ownership of quality care
