Job Summary
Provide certified nursing assistant services to residents in accordance with care plans, facility policies, and supervisor direction. Assist with activities of daily living, including lifting, turning, moving, and transporting residents between beds, chairs, bathtubs, and wheelchairs. Coordinate dining room services for meal tray delivery, feeding assistance, and documentation of intake. Deliver nutritional supplements, assist with resident weighing and skin condition tracking, and support the toileting program. Complete daily flow sheets, document resident progress, and report changes in condition or factors interfering with work to the nurse and supervisor. Maintain CPR/BLS certification and at least one year of experience in long-term care.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Nursing Assistant in good standing with the state
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- No disciplinary action in effect against certification
- At least one year of experience as a certified nursing assistant in long-term care
