Job Summary
Conduct hospice visits for clients in Rutland and Bennington County, providing activities of daily living, light housekeeping, bathing, grooming, toileting, nail care, and range of motion exercises. Assist with transfers using mechanical lifting devices, oral feeding, ambulation, vital sign checks, and medication assistance while performing home management tasks like laundry and meal preparation. Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio with reliable transportation, completing the BAYADA Competency Evaluation Examination and background check. Work part-time with flexible scheduling and on-call clinical manager support.
Required Qualifications
- Must have access to reliable transportation
- Have at least one year of work experience
- Must be listed on the VT Aide Registry, active and in good standing
- Demonstrate an ability to read, write, and effectively communicate in English
- Pass the BAYADA Competency Evaluation Examination
- Have a criminal background check completed
- Meet all state requirements
