Job Summary
Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) in a full-time float pool at Concord Hospital. Under the direction of the Director/Nurse Manager, provides direct and indirect patient care for a group of patients on the unit/department, under supervision of the RN. Performs activities of daily living and patient care tasks, documents care provided and observations, adheres to safe patient handling, demonstrates time management, serves as a preceptor for new employees, and maintains a safe, clean care environment.Education and certification requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, LNA education certificate, NH LNA licensure, and BLS certification; prior experience (6-12 months) is valued. Required Qualifications
- Education Certificate for LNA
- Final Report of Written and Clinical Competency Testing Results (NH Board of Nursing)
- Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers
- Current New Hampshire State LNA license
- Evidence of ability to work as part of a team
- 6-12 months prior experience (preferred)
