Job Summary
Under the direction of the Director and/or Nurse Manager, the Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) provides direct and indirect patient care duties for a group of patients on the unit or department, under the guidance and supervision of the RN. Performs activities of daily living and personal care, and executes technical skills related to physical, mental health and social needs under RN supervision. Documents care provided and reports observations to the RN; maintains a clean and safe patient care area; follows the five rights of delegation; serves as a preceptor for new employees. Required Qualifications
- Proof of LNA Education Certificate and Final Report of Written and Clinical Competency Testing Results (as required by the NH Board of Nursing)
- Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certification, or equivalent course credentialed by American Heart Association
- Current New Hampshire State LNA license
