Job Summary
Design, implement, and maintain end-to-end automation frameworks using Playwright, Cypress, or similar tools to replace manual regression testing with scalable automated quality processes. Build and expand automated test coverage across web applications, APIs, and backend services, while creating API test suites using Bruno or Postman. Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and establish release quality gates to accelerate delivery and ensure reliability of complex business-critical applications. Validate data-heavy applications, dashboards, and reporting functionality, collaborating with engineering teams to improve software quality throughout the development lifecycle. Drive QA best practices and continuous improvement initiatives. This role involves establishing automation strategy for a U.S.-based company modernizing warehouse operations and analytics through custom-built software and cloud-native solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Candidates located in Latin America
- 6+ years of experience in QA Automation or Software Test Engineering
- Strong experience building automated test frameworks for modern web applications
- Hands-on experience with Playwright, Cypress, or similar end-to-end testing frameworks
- Strong JavaScript and/or TypeScript skills
- Experience testing React applications
- Experience with API testing tools such as Bruno, Postman, or equivalent
- Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines
- Familiarity with cloud-based applications and distributed systems
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
- Advanced English required
- Familiarity with AI tools

Desired Qualifications
