LMSW Program Coordinator for Children Mobile Crisis Team

Job Summary

Organize program components including triage, case assignment, new referrals, and staff scheduling to ensure adequate coverage. Communicate policies to staff, oversee updated case records, and maintain compliance with regulatory standards. Track client progress, monitor quality indicators, and produce detailed reports for program data. Coordinate linkages with community providers, participate in interdisciplinary meetings, and represent the organization on external committees. Investigate client complaints, complete incident reports, and supervise interns. Plan 24/7 on-call coverage and conduct field visits as a clinical member of the Mobile Crisis team.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid New York State driver's license
  • Current license and registration to practice as a Social Worker, Psychologist, Marriage and Family Therapist, Mental health Counselor or other related license in New York State
  • Child and Adolescent Needs and Strengths New York (CANS) certification
  • Ability to complete necessary training to administer the CANS NY assessment in the UAS system within 60 days of start date
  • Master's Degree in Social Work, Education or related field from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum three years of experience in a community mental health setting
  • Minimum of one-year of supervisory experience
  • Effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proficient with personal computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel

Desired Qualifications

  • For Health Home, CCM and Wellness : Current license and registration to practice as a Social Worker, Psychologist, Marriage and Family Therapist, Mental health Counselor or other related license in New York State
  • For Children's Health Home Program: Child and Adolescent Needs and Strengths New York (CANS) certification
  • Must complete necessary training to administer the CANS NY assessment in the UAS system within 60 days of start date
  • Crisis intervention experience
  • Prior experience in working with children and adolescents
