Job Summary
The role provides behavioral health diagnostic assessments and psycho-social interventions (individual, group, and family) per DSM-V, develops treatment and disposition plans, and collaborates with families and care teams. Responsibilities include crisis intervention, transitions to appropriate levels of care (in person, telephone, or telehealth), clinical liaison work with patients, families, and community agencies, and active participation in process improvement and supervision to ensure ethical, high-quality care within Tennessee regulatory standards.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work or related field
- Licensed Professional Counselor - Mental Health Services Provider Temporary License (LPC - MHSP TEMP) - State of Tennessee
- LIC-Licensed Clinical Social Worker - Tennessee
- Experience in behavioral health diagnostic and psycho-social assessments
- Proficiency with DSM-V
- Experience with crisis intervention and evidence-based interventions
- Ability to conduct in-person, telephone, and telehealth contacts
- Maintains confidentiality and operates within state laws and ethics
- Supervision requirements as per Tennessee Health Related Boards
- Knowledge of CMS Best Practice Guidelines and Joint Commission standards
- Documentation and clinical liaison responsibilities
