Job Summary
Licensed Master Social Worker providing a range of psychological assessment, diagnostic, therapeutic, and/or case management services for individuals, children, couples, groups, and/or families under the supervision of a LCSW. Responsibilities include clinical diagnostic assessment, suicide/homicide risk assessment, individual/group/family therapy, and collaboration within a Multidisciplinary Team. Role supports school-based health centers when applicable and may involve practice within the North Canaan office (24 hours) and Torrington and/or Winsted offices (18 hours). Requires mastery of ethics, confidentiality, and community-resource linkage; teleworking available upon request. Licensure in CT and a Master’s degree are required. English proficiency is required; Spanish preferred. Prior experience with EHR, caseload development, and engagement in school-system contexts is valued. Requires ability to adhere to confidentiality policies, participate in case consultations, and contribute to a positive public relations environment.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program
- Current license from the Connecticut State Board of Registration (LMSW or equivalent)
- Experience with assessing clients, maintaining an EHR, and some individual therapy experience
- English proficiency (written and spoken); Spanish preferred but not required
