Job Summary
Performs x-ray views according to provider orders, under state law and in compliance with licenses. Operates radiologic equipment to produce radiographs of all bony anatomy for diagnostic purposes as directed by Physician. Maintains a safe diagnostic radiological environment following radiation safety guidelines. Collaborates with clinic staff to ensure high-quality care and clinic efficiencies; monitors equipment safety and communicates issues to leadership; maintains knowledge of equipment upgrades and adheres to compliance programs and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent with education and training from an accredited radiology sciences program per state requirements
- Active Radiology certification required
- LMRT license in state of residency or Basic X-ray machine operator license per state requirements
- BLS may be required as per practice standard
