Job Summary
LMRT opening at a healthcare organization: Responsible for performing clinical and radiological duties, operating radiologic equipment to produce radiographs of all bony anatomy under physician direction, and maintaining a safe diagnostic environment. Collaborates with clinic staff to ensure high-quality patient care, follows radiation safety guidelines, adheres to license requirements and state regulations, maintains equipment and stays current with upgrades, and supports clinic efficiency as part of a team.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent with education and training from an accredited radiology sciences program per state requirements required
- Experience in a medical office setting preferred
- Possession of active and unrevoked Radiology certification required
- Acceptable licensure/certifications are: Limited Medical Radiology Technician (LMRT) license in state of residency
- Basic X-ray machine operator license/certification per state requirements
- BLS may be required as per practice standard
