Job Summary
LMP: Psychiatrist, PMHNP/DNP (Integrated Team Based Care) provides psychiatric assessments and ongoing medication management within Cascadia Health’s integrated care model. Responsibilities include medical necessity determinations, documentation and supervision of cases, collaboration with other clinicians and external providers, EHR upkeep, crisis support, HIPAA compliance, mandatory trainings, and delivering trauma-informed, person-first care. Certifications and licenses in psychiatry or PMHNP/DNP with DEA are required; CPR/First Aid certifications are required and current. Scheduling indicates part-time with a Monday-Wednesday shift, at Garlington Health Center in NE Portland, OR.
Required Qualifications
- Active state medical license, including maintenance requirements and DEA certification
- Certification (or eligibility for certification) by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology for general psychiatry, OR Certification (or eligibility for certification) by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology for child and adolescent psychiatry
- Active State Nursing License as a PMHNP/DNP, including maintenance requirements and DEA certification
- Certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center
- 2-5 years of clinical experience with a community mental health clinic population is preferred
