Job Summary
Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LMHT) to launch or expand a private practice using Headway’s platform. Requires Master’s level licensure (e.g., LMHC, LPCMH, LIMHP, LMFT, LMFTS, LCMFT, LPC, LPCC, LCPC, LCPCS, LPCC-S, LCSW, LICSW, or LCSCW) and a valid NPI number with malpractice insurance. Role focuses on joining Headway’s network to start accepting insurance, credentialing in multiple states, and serving clients through insured plans (Medicare Advantage, Medicaid) with built-in EHR, scheduling, secure messaging, and ongoing CEU opportunities. Bi-weekly payments and insurance integration are provided; Headway emphasizes in-network participation and practice growth provided through the platform. Note: Headway currently requires fully licensed practitioners to participate.
Required Qualifications
- Fully-licensed Mental Health Therapist at Master’s level or above with licensure such as LMHC, LPCMH, LIMHP, LMFT, LMFTS, LCMFT, LPC, LPCC, LCPC, LCPCS, LPCC-S, LCSW, LICSW, or LCSCW (state-accepted)
- Valid NPI number
- Malpractice insurance
- Ability to launch or grow private practice and accept insurance
