Job Summary
Collaborate with Engineering, Production, and Quality stakeholders to understand manufacturing process requirements and recommend application solutions to improve workflows. Develop, customize, and maintain manufacturing-related software applications, including MES and ERP systems, while performing setup, configuration, and testing. Ensure applications meet business needs and compliance standards by conducting user testing, troubleshooting, and generating traceability reports. Integrate applications with manufacturing equipment to optimize data flows and automation, while managing databases, server performance, and security protocols. Provide application support to end-users, handle access permissions, and conduct training sessions. Document workflows, design details, and updates accurately. Monitor system availability, execute backups and recovery, and participate in application upgrades. Stay updated on manufacturing IT trends and tools to address issues affecting MES application and system availability promptly.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or any related field.
- 0 to 2 years of experience in software development, preferably in manufacturing, MES, or related industrial environments.
- Exposure to programming languages such as Java, C++, C#, Python, SQL or any low code development & automation through internships, projects, or academic coursework with experience involving coding, debugging, and testing software applications.
- Participation in software development projects during academic studies, internships, or professional roles.
- Exposure to software development lifecycle (SDLC) / Software as a Service (SaaS) or any related processes including requirements gathering, development, testing, and deployment.
- Knowledge in manual software testing
- Knowledge in manufacturing processes and procedures
- Knowledge in software application (C/C++, C#, MVC, RPA, BI)
- Knowledge in problem solving and root cause analysis
- Knowledge in microsoft windows environment (configuration, troubleshooting and handle event monitoring)
- Excellent in oral and written communication
- Capable of collaborating with diversed team to achieve common goals
- Willingness to adapt to changing priotities and work under pressure in a fast phase environment
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative, work independently, and contribute actively within a team setting.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with manufacturing or business process automation projects is advantageous.
- Exposure to working in multicultural teams or global project environments is beneficial but not required.
- Willingness to collaborate with diverse stakeholders across different regions and cultures.
