Job Summary
Project Engineer at FedEx Express Latin America and Caribbean Division responsible for leading high impact strategic projects, evaluating and designing interfacing with field management, manpower, and systems to reduce operating expenses, increase revenue, and enhance customer service. Responsibilities include developing procedures, long-range plans for each station and district, providing technical assistance to field personnel through workshops and reviews, supporting international operations with systems like IMS, FAMIS, and COSMOS, coordinating with foreign affiliates on facility searches, evaluations, and planning, supervising construction contracts when required, and ensuring alignment with corporate productivity and performance goals. Required skills include Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, AutoCAD 2D, problem-solving tools, planning and organizational skills, strong communication and analytical abilities, influencing/persuasion, and project management, with minimum seven years of related experience and fluency in English (TOEIC 800). Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or other Engineering field
- Fluent in English (800 TOEIC points)
- Seven (7) years professional, I.E., or related experience
- Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma and use of statistical tools
- Manage AutoCAD 2D or superior
- Knowledge of problem-solving tools (Ishikawa, Paretos, 5W, histograms, etc.)
