Job Summary
Courier at FedEx Express Latin America and Caribbean Division tasked with efficient delivery and pickup of packages, sorting and recording shipments, and ensuring deliveries meet FedEx service standards. Responsibilities include operating non-articulated vehicles safely, completing necessary paperwork, scanning and labeling packages correctly, seeking additional business from customers, assisting with inquiries, and maintaining professional appearance. Requires ability to load/unload vehicles, manage equipment, and coordinate with sales for significant customer actions, while upholding accuracy, organization, and teamwork.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license for vehicle assigned
- Minimum 1 year experience driving 3.5 ton trucks
- Good driving record
- Ability to lift up to 55 lbs (25 kg) and maneuver packages up to 150 lbs (68 kg)
- Basic English skills (preferred)
- Excellent customer service and teamwork
- Ability to read, map read, sort, and perform math sections of Basic Skills Test
