Job Summary
Ramp Agent responsible for coordinating local ground operations at the ramp, including aircraft marshaling, loading and unloading, and related paperwork. Ensures safe and efficient trunk aircraft loading/unloading, computes proper weight and balance before take-off, and maintains records. Performs and oversees ground equipment operation, coordinates flight delays/cancellations/re-routes, and liaises with local contractors. Ensures compliance with FedEx policies and TSA/DG guidance, provides technical support to cargo handling staff, and requires English proficiency and TOEIC-based qualification. Office-oriented duties supplement operational tasks, with emphasis on accuracy, documentation, and safety in a FedEx LAC/Toluca context.
Required Qualifications
- High School degree/Equivalent
- Proficiency in English (600 TOEIC points)
- Minimum Experience: One year experience in airport ramp procedures and aircraft ground support preferred
- Successful completion of approved Company Ramp Agent Training Course
- Valid driver’s license and Operations Officer License
- Ability to lift 75 lbs and to maneuver any single package weighing up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment
- Microsoft Office & PC Skills
- Attention to Detail
- TOEIC score minimum 750 (Note: TOEIC score requirement stated)
