Job Summary
Maintain and care for indoor and outdoor vertical gardens, interiorscapes, and green infrastructure by deadheading, pruning, and managing pest and disease issues. Plant with attention to detail, assist with irrigation system operation and troubleshooting, and help implement living wall structure fabrication and installation. Operate elevated work platforms including ladders, scissor lifts, boom lifts, and forklifts to safely access installations. Pick up and deliver plants and supplies, load equipment, and report problems related to pests, diseases, or damage. Communicate effectively with team members using mobile technology and interact with clients in their spaces. Available to work between 6 am and 5 pm with flexibility to travel out of area.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience and passion for exterior and interiorscape plant care
- Knowledge of tropical interior plants and ornamental exterior landscape plants
- Proficiency in identifying common plant pests and understanding their management
- Familiarity with irrigation system operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance
- Experience with nutrients and fertilizers for plants
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Ability to confidently interpret unknowns and make competent informed decisions
- Energetic, hardworking, self-motivated, and detail-oriented with a strong work ethic
- Positive attitude and ability to take direction
- Excellent customer service capabilities
- Ability to work from heights and maintain a safe working area
- Physical ability to carry a minimum of 50 LBS
- Must have proficiency with equipment and power tools used on commercial projects
- You must have a valid California license with clean driving record, reliable transportation, be extremely dependable, and flexible with work hours
- Available to work between the hours of 6 am - 5 pm
- Flexibility to travel out of area for work
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred Certifications: OSHA 30, MEWP/ Aerial Lift Certification, First Aid/CPR, Horticulture Degree
