Job Summary
Lead livelihoods programming in Alexandria by translating results frameworks into weekly micro plans, coordinating vocational skills training for 140 youth, and managing market linkages with three CSOs and 20 CBOs. Design and deliver training packages including green skills, entrepreneurship, and Zein El Rigal gender dialogue, while chairing committees to approve employment linkage allocations and support CBO-led enterprise incubation. Conduct participatory market mapping, facilitate quarterly learning sessions with MEAL data, and convene monthly consortium meetings to resolve bottlenecks and strengthen partner capacity. Ensure child safeguarding, PSEAH, and gender-responsive delivery across all interventions, prepare donor reporting, and manage procurement and budget execution in alignment with Save the Children policies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in development economics, International Development or a related field
- Minimum 4 years' experience in livelihoods, poverty reduction programming in in a humanitarian and development program context
- Experience working through/with sub grants and partners
- Experience with capacity building of local partners and communities
- Excellent knowledge of poverty reduction programming, with a focus on child poverty and expert knowledge of livelihoods skills development, including cash transfer programme implementation
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to think strategically to solve problems and find effective ways to accomplish goals
- Well-developed communication skills across cultures
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as a team player and independently
- Training experience
- Experience in program design and proposal development
- Experience in representation with international bodies, government and funders
- Fluency in Arabic and English (written and spoken)
- Ability to work under pressure and deliver results with tight deadlines
