Job Summary
Represent unpaid carers in your neighbourhood by gathering and sharing their views to inform council decisions on health, social care, and community support. Shape the Lewisham Carers Forum agenda and build connections with local carer groups, NHS partners, and voluntary sector providers to promote awareness and co-production activities. Act as a voice for carers across diverse communities to influence decision-making and improve support systems. Submit a CV and supporting statement explaining your lived experience, community connection, and approach to representation by Tuesday 25th August. Interviews will be held on Thursday 3rd September 2026, with a proposed start date of 21 September 2026.
Required Qualifications
- Have lived experience as an unpaid carer
- Live in one of Lewisham's four neighbourhoods
- Are confident engaging with a wide range of people and partners
- Have experience (formal or informal) of community engagement, listening, or co-production
- Value equality, diversity and inclusion and can help ensure all voices are heard
