Live-Stream Lead Social Media Community Moderator

Job Summary
Lead a US-based, remote, temporary Live-Stream Social Media Community Moderation program. The role focuses on developing and sustaining active digital communities for live-stream events, supervising moderator teams, covering Sunday afternoon/evening shifts (11:30am-7pm CT) from August through January with a minimum of 12 Sundays, and escalating client issues to Social Care management. Key duties include real-time user interaction, enforcing brand voice and guidelines, maintaining daily client workflows, and coordinating with clients on escalations. Required skills include strong leadership, excellent written/verbal communication, ability to mirror multiple brand tones, organizational multitasking, platform knowledge (YouTube, Facebook, Twitter/X, Instagram, Discord, Twitch), metrics analysis, and familiarity with collaboration tools (Asana, Basecamp, Trello) and social media management platforms (Brandwatch, Khoros, Sprinklr). Experience in social media moderation and team management is mandatory; knowledge of sports-related communities is a plus. Equal Opportunity Employer.
Required Qualifications
- Previous social media community moderation experience and management of teams required
- Consistent, daily support for moderators on shift
- Gatekeepers of potential client escalations to Social Care Manager
- Owners of daily client workflow
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (spelling and grammar)
- Strong willingness to learn and think critically; proactive
- High energy with ability to multitask in a dynamic organization
- Interact with users in real-time, answering questions and engaging in discussion
- Knowledge of major social media platforms (Youtube, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace
- Ability to analyze social media metrics
- Project management tools experience a plus (Asana, Basecamp, Trello)
- Knowledge of social media management platforms a plus (Brandwatch, Khoros, Sprinklr)
- Youtube LCR, Discord, & Twitch moderation a plus
- Sunday afternoon/evening shift availability (11:30am-7pm CT)
- Minimum hardware/software: Windows 10 and macOS 12.x (Windows Hello or Apple TouchID)
- Internet speed requirement: minimum 150 Mbps
