Job Summary
Open, manage, fund, and close residential, commercial, refinance, and FSBO escrow transactions by preparing instructions, deeds, and settlement statements. Coordinate successful closings by executing documents with buyers, sellers, and lenders, while resolving title issues and verifying ownership. Serve as the primary point of contact for all stakeholders, providing timely updates and ensuring accurate file compliance. Disburse funds and maintain digitized records post-closing, adhering to federal, state, and company policies. Requires 5 years of escrow industry experience, 2 years as an Escrow Officer, and ability to obtain bonding. Located in San Diego, CA, with hourly compensation of $29.00–$36.00.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years of escrow industry experience with responsibilities comparable to this role.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Escrow Officer.
- Strong understanding of escrow and title industry practices, procedures, and documentation.
- Ability to obtain and maintain required bonding.
- Ability to successfully pass applicable background screening requirements.
