Job Summary
Conduct initial safety checks and inspections of the yard truck, documenting results on the inspection form. Monitor the radio constantly to respond immediately to supervisor or shipping & receiving team requests regarding backing trailers in and out of the receiving dock. Assist receiving team members in unloading trailers as needed and communicate timely with the supervisor about any shift issues. Operate an 18-wheeler or shag truck with a trailer, ensuring the ability to back trailers using mirrors. Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor. This 3rd shift role is located outside the plant in Broken Bow, OK, with a pay of $18.15 per hour. Candidates must have at least six months of relevant driving experience and a valid state driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- 6 months experience operating 18-wheeler/shag truck with trailer
- Must be able to back trailers using mirrors
- At least 18 years old
- Valid state issued driver's license
- No DWI/DUI conviction within the past 12 Months
- Willingness to submit to the Non-Dot disclosure and release form to obtain MVR
- Ability to lift, pull, and/or push up to 50 pounds
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness to work with others to adhere to Tyson's safety culture
- Willingness and ability to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
