Job Summary
Live-In Direct Support Professional (DSP) role supporting individuals with disabilities in a home setting. Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, personal care, meals, and medication, encouraging independence and life skills, coordinating appointments and medical documentation, supporting community outings and social engagement, and serving as a positive role model through respectful communication. Requires strong communication, organizational skills, English proficiency for daily communications with staff and families, and experience in caregiving or supporting individuals with disabilities.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Proof of vehicle insurance
- Ability to pass background checks and reference verification
- Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts
- Experience with documentation systems such as Therap, Paycom, or StationMD
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Proficiency in spoken and written English
