Job Summary
Live-In Superintendent overseeing day-to-day maintenance and operations of a Weston Road, North York residential community of 200+ residents. Responsibilities include responding to maintenance requests, performing general maintenance and repairs, ensuring safe operation of amenities, conducting inspections, assisting with seasonal tasks (landscaping, snow removal), keeping work areas clean, coordinating with site staff and vendors, and adhering to health and safety policies. Requires 2+ years in property maintenance or facilities support, valid driver’s license, basic understanding of residential building systems, physical ability for manual tasks, verbal English, criminal record check, and references. Base salary between CAD 40k-45k plus employer-provided housing valued at approximately CAD 2,000–2,400, plus benefits and two weeks of paid vacation starting day one. On-call evenings, weekends, and holidays are required. Location at 2220-2222 Weston Road, North York, ON, Canada.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in property maintenance, building operations, or facilities support role
- Must have a valid, unrestricted driver’s license, and access to your own vehicle
- General understanding of residential building systems (e.g., kitchen & bathroom fixtures, doors, appliances, lighting)
- Physically capable of performing routine manual tasks, including bending, kneeling, lifting, and extended periods of walking
- Functional English verbal communication skills
- Successful completion of a criminal record check
- Ability to provide professional references and have a proven record of reliable work attendance
