Job Summary
Live-in Special Needs Nanny for a 2-year-old with cerebral palsy in Tuscaloosa, AL. Schedule: Monday–Friday 8:00am–5:00pm with flexibility; guaranteed 45 hours per week. Responsibilities include hands-on care for a toddler with special needs, assisting with mobility (gait trainer and walker), lifting/transferring the child (~25 lbs), transporting to therapy appointments (PT/OT/speech), reinforcing therapy exercises and developmental goals, engaging in age-appropriate education activities, and maintaining a safe, structured, nurturing environment. The role requires a valid driver’s license, authorization to work in the U.S., CPR certification, and the ability to provide 3–5 professional references. Background or credentials in OT/PT/Speech therapy and/or special needs care are highly preferred.
