Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive housekeeping duties including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing to maintain a consistently clean and organized residence. Manage all laundry operations, from washing and folding to ironing fine clothing, linens, and specialty fabrics. Ensure the home remains beautifully maintained and guest-ready while occasionally supervising visiting children of extended family members. Provide driving assistance for household errands and appointments when needed. Work independently while communicating effectively with the family regarding household needs and priorities. This part-time role offers 25 hours per week with a private one-bedroom apartment, separate entrance, and all utilities included.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience as a housekeeper in a private residence
- Excellent professional references
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
- Experience caring for luxury garments, delicate fabrics, and quality household linens
- Previous childcare experience
- Excellent references for childcare
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Professional, dependable, trustworthy, and able to maintain complete confidentiality
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Comfortable around horses and household pets
- Valid driver's license
- Clean driving record
