Job Summary
Live-In House Manager responsible for on-site oversight at Tranquil Ways Sober Living in Scranton, PA. Manage daily operations to maintain a safe, sober, and structured living environment, enforce house rules, lead regular house meetings, monitor resident compliance with curfews and program expectations, conduct daily walk-throughs for safety and cleanliness, support admissions and discharges with leadership, address emergencies promptly, and serve as a positive role model for recovery and accountability. Requires strong communication and leadership abilities, organizational reliability, and a valid driver’s license for resident transport. Free on-site housing, groceries/expenses covered, stipends and completion incentive offered. This role lives on-site and acts as the primary point of contact for residents, fostering a supportive recovery-focused community.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1–2 years of continuous sobriety required
- Valid driver’s license (for resident transport)
- Experience in sober living, peer support, or recovery leadership preferred
- Strong communication, leadership, and conflict-resolution skills
- Organized, reliable, and able to set and maintain healthy boundaries
