Job Summary
Live-in House Director at the University of Iowa for Tri Delta chapter responsible for on-site property and employee management, dining operations oversight, and safety/compliance. Manages daily house operations, reports to supervisor and chapter leadership, supervises two employees (housekeeper and dining assistant), coordinates with vendors and the national staff, and ensures a safe, welcoming living environment for collegiate members. Starts July 2026; includes benefits, paid time off, and background check requirements. Responsibilities include managing daily operations, fundraising and budgeting support, safety inspections, and collaboration with chapter and advisors.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of related experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, web-based applications, and general computer skills
- Ability to speak and read English
- Meet specified physical requirements of lifting no more than 35 lbs., standing, walking, and climbing stairs multiple times daily
- May work extended hours and/or non-traditional hours (i.e. able to respond to emergencies 24/7)
- Ability to use proper discretion and independent judgment in carrying out the primary roles and responsibilities of the position
