Job Summary
Conduct personal care, hygiene, and mobility assistance for clients while planning meals, managing light housekeeping, and administering prescribed medications. Monitor health changes, respond to emergencies, and accompany clients on shopping trips or appointments. Maintain accurate reporting of incidents and ensure all duties align with custom care plans and safety standards. Requires a valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and First Aid training. Offers flexible full-time, part-time, and PRN shifts with health, dental, and vision insurance, plus continuing education in dementia care.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Drivers License
- Car Insurance
- Reliable Personal Vehicle
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Training in First Aid and emergency response
- Excellent time-management skills
- Reliable transportation to get to and from client homes at the times you're scheduled to provide care
- Physical endurance when it comes to things like carrying groceries and physically supporting a client
- Ability to perform housekeeping and cooking duties while adhering to applicable dietary constraints
- Willingness and ability to comply with state and office-specific health and safety standards (ex., background check)
- Compassion, understanding, and a desire to brighten the day of each client
