Job Summary
Conduct personal care and hygiene assistance, assist clients with mobility and ambulation, and prepare meals while managing light housekeeping duties. Accompany clients on shopping trips, administer prescribed medications, and report health changes or emergencies promptly. Provide supportive companionship and ensure clients adhere to custom care plans. Maintain reliable transportation to transport clients between homes and appointments. Respond quickly to unusual incidents and comply with state health and safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Drivers License
- Car Insurance
- Reliable Personal Vehicle
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Training in First Aid and emergency response
- Excellent time-management skills
- Physical endurance for carrying groceries and physically supporting a client
- Ability to perform housekeeping and cooking duties while adhering to applicable dietary constraints
- Willingness and ability to comply with state and office-specific health and safety standards (ex., background check)
- Compassion, understanding, and a desire to brighten the day of each client
