Job Summary
Conduct daily personal care, hygiene, and mobility assistance for clients while preparing meals and managing light housekeeping. Assist with light exercise, accompany clients on shopping trips, and ensure appropriate medication administration. Respond promptly to health changes or emergencies, reporting incidents as required. Maintain reliable transportation to client homes and adhere to strict health and safety standards. This live-in role offers flexible full-time or PRN schedules with opportunities for advanced dementia and Alzheimer's care training.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Drivers License
- Car Insurance
- Reliable Personal Vehicle
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Training in First Aid and emergency response
- Excellent time-management skills
- Physical endurance for carrying groceries and physically supporting a client
- Ability to perform housekeeping and cooking duties while adhering to applicable dietary constraints
- Willingness and ability to comply with state and office-specific health and safety standards (ex., background check)
- Compassion, understanding, and a desire to brighten the day of each client
